"I have a dream that one day every valley shall be exalted, every hill and mountain shall be made low, the rough places will be made straight and the glory of the Lord shall be revealed and all flesh shall see it together." ~ Martin Luther King Jr.
As I was reading Martin Luther King Jr.'s "I have a dream" speech for the first time this morning, I found myself truly inspired by every word he said. It all begins with a dream. Dream to be FREE. To make a dream become a reality, one must fight for it. "Even though we face the difficulties of today and tomorrow, I still have a dream." he said.
"The poorest man is not without a cent, but without a dream" ~ unknown. We all have dreams. Some dream to become a doctor, some dream to become a great soldier, some dream to be debt free, some dream to become a great evangelist, great singer etc. Whatever it is, keep following your dream. Pray for it, live with it. Keep pressing on until your dream come true. There are times in all of our lives when we want to throw in the towel and say, "Forget it! This is too hard! I quit! We only have to live our lives one step at a time. Perseverance is the key to reaching the finish line.
Ralph Waldo Emerson said, "Enthusiasm is one of the most powerful engines of success. When you do a thing, do it with your might. Put your whole soul into it. Stamp it with your own personality. Be active, be energetic, be enthusiastic and faithful, and you will accomplish your object." Enthusiasm is also the key for us to reach our dreams. And always put your trust in the Lord and He will direct your path.
