"Be patient in little things. Learn to bear the everyday trials and annoyances of life quietly and calmly, and then, when unforeseen trouble or calamity comes, your strength will not forsake you. There is as much difference between genuine patience and sullen endurance, as between the smile of love, and the malicious gnashing of the teeth."
- William Swan Plumer
Patience is more than endurance. A believer’s life is in the hands of God like a bow and arrow in the hands of an archer. God is aiming at something you cannot see. Trust yourself in God’s hands. Patience is cooperating. You have to learn that with nature. You cannot force natural forces. If you go with them, they will carry you. “Let patience have her perfect work.” – James 1:4 For God’s work is never hurried. Our impatience with nature, with our fellows, with ourselves is always spoiling the beauty of design God would otherwise show us every moment.
Sometime it’s hard to wait for our prayers to be answered, but God wants us to trust Him. God only work in His own time. All we have to do is wait, He will take care the rest.
Hope you have a beautiful Wednesday! - xo jennie
